More credit than was due
Last night an ex told me that he would be getting married. I felt that there must be an appropriate GIF somewhere on the internet to respond with. Unfortunately, I got slightly distracted and when I returned to the conversation there was a “….you okay?” situation waiting for me.
Goddammit, for a few minutes there was an ex out there thinking I was somehow saddened by news he was getting married, when in fact, I was just having a giggle over this thing.(Which is basically my reaction to any wedding announcement.)
..But…I….Wha……Oh. Okay.
Just mentioned to the in-house stepfather from Poland that my Mister was working out. His response?
“I always been told that men start working out to impress other women. So watch out.”
