On second thought, if she hasn’t answered by day 3 I’d guess she’s not that into me. And I’d be bummed.
Little Brother bought some new shades - I asked if they were a brand or a find. He answered:
“Just an awesome find at 150kroner, but if they were a brand, they’d be called ‘Johnny’”.
Father and Little brother have their birthdays today. The little one turns 22 - I hear reports that he is now sporting a big, red, viking beard.

Today my little brother was standing guard at Amalienborg, the royal palace(residence of the Danish royal family). He was standing directly in the sun, in a woolen uniform underneath a 2 kilo bearskin hat/helmet/rug.
I went and bought an ice cream and ate it in front of him.

My little brother and his squad after their 4 day field exercise in sub-zero temperatures(which they ‘won’. Not sure what this means exactly. I think flags are involved). That was followed by “family-day” at the base where the kid proudly showed us around, fed us field rations and helped me crawl around on a CV90. My thoughts the entire day, other than “fuck, fuck it’s cold!”, was “oh, isn’t that adorable!”. (I did manage to not say that out loud.)
Anyones’ opinion on the military is theirs to have, but I’m fiercely proud of my baby brother.
The good looking one on the bottom row, second from the right, is he.
I woke up this morning by my little brother plonking down on my bed, drawing schematics over his three day field exercise.
I think this may be the last time my brother takes me with him when he’s Christmas shopping for his girlfriend.
